Charles McCarthy

Charles James McCarthy is a young man caught in the shadow of his father's past mistakes. At the time of the Boscombe Valley case, he finds himself accused of a murder he did not commit, with circumstantial evidence mounting against him at every turn. Living in the countryside with his father and sister, he represents the innocent caught in the machinery of justice, vulnerable to the appearance of guilt despite his actual innocence.
